Terms of Service

BTZ is the trading name of BODEJO TECH ZONE, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria (registration number 9562207).

Registered address: 2832, Farawa Babban Layi Sabongari off Wudil Road, Kano, KANO STATE, NIGERIA.

BTZ lets you buy airtime, data, electricity, cable TV and exam PINs, and gives you a wallet to pay for them.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Nigerian law.

• Keep your password and transaction PIN secret. Do not share them with anyone.
• You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• A transaction PIN is required for purchases and withdrawals.
• BTZ staff will never ask for your PIN, password or OTP.

Before you can fund your wallet, you must give us your name, phone number, email, date of birth, gender, address and BVN.

Your BVN must match your details. If it does not, we cannot verify you or create your virtual account. You must give us true and current information.

• BTZ is not a bank. Your wallet is not a bank account or savings account and does not earn interest.
• Each verified customer gets a dedicated virtual account, provided through our licensed payment partner Squad (HabariPay, a GTCO company).
• Money you send to your virtual account is credited to your BTZ wallet, minus the funding fee.

We rely on mobile networks, electricity distribution companies, cable TV companies, exam bodies, VTU providers and our payment partner to deliver services. Sometimes a service may be slow or unavailable because of these providers or for maintenance. We will do our best to keep things running, but we cannot guarantee that every service is always available.

• Wallet funding: 1% of the amount, minimum ₦50, maximum ₦1,500. This is deducted before your wallet is credited.
• Withdrawal: ₦50 flat per withdrawal.
• Other fees: any other fee is shown to you before you confirm a transaction.

• You can only withdraw to a Nigerian bank account in your own name. We check this with an account-name lookup.
• Withdrawals are available Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 7:00pm WAT.
• Outside these hours, withdrawals are unavailable. They are not queued, so please try again during the window.
• If a withdrawal fails or is reversed, the full amount, including the ₦50 fee, is refunded to your wallet.

We may set limits on how much you can fund, spend or withdraw. Current limits are shown in the app.

You must not use BTZ for:

• Fraud or scams.
• Money laundering or financing crime.
• Using someone else's identity, BVN or bank account, or stolen details.
• Abusing our systems, staff, promotions or other users.
• Anything else that breaks Nigerian law.

We may hold, freeze or suspend your account, or close it, if we suspect fraud, misuse, a breach of these terms or a breach of the law. Where required, we may report activity to the relevant authorities.

If something goes wrong, open a dispute from the transaction page in the app, or contact us at support@tbz.ng.com or 08108178379 (Mon–Sat, 8am–8pm WAT). We will respond within 2 business days.

As far as the law allows, BTZ is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays and failures caused by third-party providers or events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above. If you keep using BTZ after a change, you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
